Marriage isn’t for the weak and in the Stevens household, Monét (played by Arshianna Reece) is the weakest link. Focused on her career, her social lifestyle, and her ladder to success, she’s neglecting her husband, Anthony (played by Desmond Reece), who makes significantly less than her, and lives in her shadow. Nothing he does seems to be good enough.
Shanna (played by Shaneka Leverette), her best friend, is constantly in Monét’s ear trying to keep her spiritually grounded, and focused on what matters most—her home. To the contrary, Anthony’s best friend, Tasmin (played by Kevin Williams) is encouraging Anthony to step out and get what he’s missing.
Determined to close her next big deal with a celebrity client, Dina Kellye (played by DiShan Patrice), Monét begins trying to impress her through expensive dinners, shopping trips, and private meetings at their home. Dina, eventually picking up on Anthony’s emotional deficit, transforms into a seductive vixen in hopes of convincing Anthony that life is better with her.
Monét’s BigMama (played by Armealia Robinson) & Aunt Toopie (played by Chantel Snow) comes to visit for a weekend, and hilariously tries to help Monét save her marriage before it’s too late. But, is it already too late? Will she be able to convince Anthony that the grass isn’t greener on the other side—even though it really is?
When my marriage ended, I had no idea how I would sustain myself, take care of my daughter, cover the bills, and have a quality life that included more than just living to work and pay bills.

I tried to find jobs but at the time of my divorce, I'd been living the life of a housewife and entrepreneur, and my resume was outdated. Not one job that I applied for called me for an interview. It forced me to dig deep and tap into all of my talents. In doing so, on a whim, I asked a Pastor I knew if I could write his book. He agreed and that was the beginning of my ghostwriting career. From there, word of mouth became my most effective form of marketing, and before you knew it, I was making pretty decent money.
My first celebrity client, The King family, opened even more doors for me, and that is when I realized I was on to something that could be even bigger than I imagined. Turns out, my natural gift of writing, combined with some formal training, would result in a lucrative, life changing career that upgraded the life of this single mother who'd been left with nothing. Now, I'm teaching others how to do the same thing, but without the difficulty I experienced along the way.
